Radio’s reach is truly unprecedented amongst Adults. On a weekly basis Radio reaches 93% of the Adult population – more than TV, PC, Tablets and even Smartphones.
In fact, more millennials (18-34) use Radio on a weekly basis than use the Apps on their Smartphone!
But what about digital properties like Google, YouTube and Facebook? I mean, everyone Google’s and even my mom is on Facebook! Literally everyone has to be using those platforms then…not true.
Comparing ComScore internet traffic data and Nielsen listenership data it turns out 250% more 25-54 year olds will listen to Radio on a typical day than use Google or Facebook. 400% more will use Radio on a typical day than go to YouTube. And a whopping 2,000% more will use Radio on a typical day than go to Twitter.
Same goes for the tech-savvy millennials – believe it or not, 160% more millennials will use Radio on a typical day than use Google or Facebook. 190% more will use Radio than YouTube. And 1,000% more will use Radio than Twitter on a typical day.
